Join a network of Western North Carolina farmers working together to identify successful business models in the local food economy. The Appalachian Grown Farm Business Initiative brings together farmers from all over Western North Carolina to learn from each other on topics specific to farm enterprises such as:
- Diversify market shares
- Financial management
- Supply chain management
- Record keeping
Farmers in the program will have access to one-on-one business coaching and a series of farm-business workshops that will be planned throughout the year.
