Emily Breedlove is going to tell it to you straight. Sugar coating what she thinks about anything is just not her style. It is one of the many reasons why she makes such an excellent business coach. A serial entrepreneur herself, Emily also brings to the table over 12 years of experience working on marketing, small business, and rural development projects.

Emily is the founder of Small Town Ventures, a consulting, branding, and facilitating company serving rural entrepreneurs and communities across America. She joined the team of Mountain BizWorks businesses coaches in January 2017 and specializes in marketing, particularly for businesses just starting out or going through a rebranding process.

Lately, Emily has been pivoting her brand to focus on supporting female entrepreneurs by recognizing the unique challenges women face in the small business world. “It is important to me to help other women step out and tell their story. If you aren’t automatically given a seat at the table, sharing your authentic story and putting it out into the world can be very intimidating.”  As a mother of two young children herself, Emily recognizes the unrealistic demands put on women to be both a good parent and a good CEO. “The intense desire of entrepreneurial women trying to balance business and family breeds a hunger that you don’t see anywhere else. I want to say to those women – I see you! I respect what you are doing because it is hard. It’s hard everyday.”
